Speaker buttons on English card pages play the Pinyin part of the displayed name. Chinese pages do not use these buttons. The recordings are isolated syllables played in sequence, so they sound different from a person saying the whole name naturally.

Source and use
Source revision: 59dbafbda8b172ffc3b8b295cd5938ae1b3de803. The served MP3 files are unchanged. The player sequences decoded recordings with short gaps and modest playback headroom; reviewed spoken-tone adjustments select alternate recordings. No assembled audio files are distributed.
The audio remains available under its own licence. Taiji artwork, game text and website code are separate works and are not placed under that audio licence. There is no DRM or additional download restriction on these recordings.

Current coverage
The uploaded source archive supplies all required files. This update enables 650 of the 705 card names containing marked Pinyin. Names with ambiguous readings or recordings flagged by the source for defects have no button while those exceptions are reviewed. Desktop and mobile playback still need a check on actual devices.
