A further 320 li north stands Mount Guàntí [灌題]. Above grow many trees of heaven and silkworm thorns, below lie much shifting sand and many whetstones. There is a beast like an ox, with a white tail and a voice like shouting, called Nà Fù [那父]. There is a bird like a hen pheasant, with a human face, which leaps when it sees a person. Its name is Sǒng Sī [竦斯], and it cries its own name. The Jiànghán [匠韓] River rises here and flows west into Yōu [泑] Marsh, with much lodestone in its waters.
