A further 110 li north stands Mount Biānchūn [邊春], with many onions, mallows, garlic chives, peaches, and plums. The Gāng [杠] River rises here and flows west into Yōu [泑] Marsh. There is a beast like a yù [禺], with a patterned body, skilled at laughing; when it sees a person, it lies down. Its name is Yōu Yàn [幽鴳], and it cries its own name.
